Help! Recently Bought Galaxy - Have Issues

hello all, i have recently purchased a 2000 plate ford galaxy 1.9tdi ghia, looks very tidy and well cared for, but i have stumbled across two main issues, first being a noticeable oil leak coming from the back of the engine although i cant locate where from, next main issue is when i take the car around the block and give it a little opening up on the throttle i return home open the bonnet to find smoke coming from the back of the engine, white grey smoke like something is burning?? 

 

any info or possible causes most welcome, thanks

Possible causes cam cover gasket, EGR valve leaking from vent hole, and turbo seals

Oil could be dropping onto exhaust.

 

Check as above, plus turbo oil supply pipework... start from cam cover and work downwards, find out where it's wet.
